Professor Mu-Yen Chen received the Ph.D. degree in information management from National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan. He is working as a Professor with National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. His current research interests include artificial intelligence, soft computing, bio-inspired computing, data mining, deep learning, context-awareness, and machine learning, with more than 100 publications in prestigious venues, such as IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Sensors, IEEE Access, ACM Transactions on Internet Technology, Applied Soft Computing, Soft Computing, Neurocomputing, Computer Networks, and Future Generation Computer Systems. He has served as the Editor-in-Chief for International Journal of Big Data and Analytics in Healthcare, and an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, IEEE Access, Granular Computing, Human-Centric Computing and Information Sciences, and Journal of Information Science and Engineering, while he is an editorial board member on several SCI journals.
PROF. DR. EDVIN ALDRIAN, B.ENG., M.Sc

Professor Edvin Aldrian received the Ph.D. degree from in 2008 Max Planck Institute for Meteorology Germany. He is working as a Professor of Meteorology and Climatology at the National Research and Innovation Agency, Republic of Indonesia. Currently, Prof. Aldrian serves as IPCC WG1 Vice Chair representing Indonesia and countries in the Southwest Pacific region. Prof. Aldrian also served WMO as the Co Chair of Commission for Climatology for Expert Team on Institution and Infrastructure Capabilities group and WMO Co Vice Chair Regional Association V Working Group on Climate Services. Furthermore, he also served previously as EANET Scientific Advisory Committee. Prof. Aldrian has already published more than 32 peer reviewed International scientific publications, 46 National peer reviewed publications and 26 books or book chapters. He works mainly on global and regional climate issue including climate changes and actively becomes speakers for Climate Change sciences. Prof. Aldrian is active in promoting climate change science nationally and internationally as part of IPCC Outreach programme in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
PROF. DR. RER. POL. HERI KUSWANTO, M.Si

Heri Kuswanto is a Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya. He is also an active researcher at the ITS Center for Disaster Mitigation and Climate Change Research. Prof. Heri earned his Doctorate from the Institute of Statistics at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, in 2009. After completing his Ph.D., he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Laval University, Canada, for one year. Prof. Heri has received numerous international research grants to promote international collaboration, including the Partnership for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER), funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and USAID, from 2013-2015 and 2017-2019; and the DECIMALS project (2018-2020; 2021-2022), funded by The World Academy of Science (TWAS) and UNESCO. Prof. Heri Kuswanto is currently an active board member of the Indonesian Statistical Association (ISI) and an Honorary Member of the Indonesian Forum for Higher Education in Statistics (Forstat). Heri Kuswanto was named Outstanding Lecturer at ITS in 2013. He was appointed as a Professor in 2020 at the age of 38 and is currently the youngest professor at ITS. Prof. Heri Kuswanto currently serves as the Director of Graduate Program and Academic Development at ITS.
